The first lightweight title defense for Rafael dos Anjos ended very quickly and impressively, as the well rounded fighter needed less than two minutes to stop Donald Cerrone.

Dos Anjos punished Cerrone early on into the UFC on FOX 17 headliner with a body kick and punches, and sent the challenger to the mat. RDA swarmed in and fired down punches from above, and the bout was brought to a halt.

After the quick fight, dos Anjos told UFC featherweight champ Conor McGregor that he’d be wiling to fight him in Brazil or Ireland.

In the co-main event, Alistair Overeem dropped Junior dos Santos in the second round with a left hook, and after landing punches from above, the bout was stopped.
