After having his request to meet with UFC officials unmet, Cole Miller says he has no interest in re-signing with the organization he’s worked for since 2007.

Miller is preparing to fight Mizuto Hirota at UFC on FOX 22 this Saturday, which will take place in Sacramento, California. The American Top Team featherweight was supposed to fight at the UFC’s October 15th card in Manila, but the event was cancelled, after headliner BJ Penn withdrew due to injury.

According to a follow up report from MMA Fighting, “Magrinho” was informed of the card’s cancellation while he was on flight to the Philippines. The promotion did compensate Miller, but he was reportedly paid $10,000, which is less than one third of his show money. Miller proceeded to request a meeting with UFC officials, including Dana White, but no meeting materialized. Even though Miller offered to pay his own way to Las Vegas. In addition, Miller claims that matchmaker Sean Shelby told him to defeat Hirota, and then re-negotiate his deal.

Miller appeared on the latest “MMA Hour”, in advance of his bout this Saturday, which is the last on his current UFC deal. The 32 year-old had this to say, while discussing his future (quote via MMA Fighting):

“It seems like they don’t want me back by just the way they’re treating me, ignoring me,” Miller said. “If I win this fight and they send me a contract, I’m not signing that. Why would I want to fight for you when you didn’t show any interest in me fighting for you? Just take that thing on back.”

“None of that makes sense,” Miller added. “Why would I want to re-negotiate with somebody that doesn’t want to listen to my issues and my grievances. And what does winning one fight have to do with getting paid for a training camp you already did?”

The Georgia native is coming off a decision loss to Alex Caceres in June. This weekend’s fight will be Miller’s 20th with the UFC.
