Rafael dos Anjos took a big step towards earning a shot at the welterweight title tonight at UFC on FOX 26, by earning a clear cut win over Robbie Lawler.

Both men came out firing heavy shots early in the fight, but dos Anjos punished Lawler’s lead leg with kicks. Midway through the fight, it sounded like Lawler informed his corner that he had hurt his knee, and as the bout wore on, his movement was compromised. Dos Anjos continued to pick away at the very game Lawler with strikes for the remainder of the contest, en route to  a unanimous decision win.
