Although Carlos Condit has talked about retiring in the past, the welterweight says he still loves to fight, as the 42nd bout of his career approaches.

Condit (30-11) is booked to fight Alex Oliveira (17-5-1) at UFC on FOX 29, which will take place on Glendale, Arizona this Saturday. Since the longtime, welterweight contender has discussed the possibility of hanging up the gloves in recent years, Condit continues to field questions about his retirement.

But, while speaking to UFC.com recently, the 33 year-old fighter said this:

“I love what I do. I think that there’s been a lot of stuff as time goes by and different stuff that goes on and some things maybe get in the way and got in between me and my love for actually getting in there and mixing it up and training. But it’s still there. The way that I love to fight, I can’t lose that. It just gets clouded by bulls**t sometimes, I think.”

Condit was initially scheduled to fight Matt Brown on Saturday, but the latter recently withdrew due to injury.
