The UFC returns to Atlantic City (pictured) for the first time since 2005on June 22

The UFC will make its first trip to Atlantic City, N.J. in seven years with UFC on FX 4 on June 22, it was revealed on “UFC Tonight” host Todd Harris on Tuesday, Feb. 7.  Harris also announced that the fourth UFC on FOX event will take place in Los Angeles on Aug. 4.

No fighters have been confirmed for either card yet.

The last time the UFC visited Atlantic City was on June 4, 2005 for UFC 53 in which Andrei Arlovski stopped Justin Eilers by way of first round TKO (punches) in the main event.

The June 22 event will be UFC’s second event in the state of New Jersey in a two-month span.  The first, UFC on FOX 3, will take place at IZOD Center in East Rutherford on May 5.
