Anthony Johnson took out the UFC’s top, light-heavyweight contender in Alexander Gustafsson on Saturday night, and as a result, “Rumble” has moved into the coveted spot.

Johnson stopped Gustafsson in the opening round of the UFC on FOX 14 headliner, and the powerful striker has been voted into the #1 ranking position. Gustafsson, meanwhile, dropped one spot and is now #2. Gustasfsson also lost his #15 position in the promotion’s pound-for-pound rankings as a result of the defeat. Interim heavyweight champ Fabricio Werdum has been moved into that spot.

Ryan Bader worked his way to a split decision over Phil Davis at the event, and the former TUF winner has risen two positions into #5. Davis, who was #5 prior to the event, has slipped to #6.

The card also saw middleweight Gegard Mousasi quickly TKO Dan Henderson, and the former Strikeforce champ moved up one spot into #7. Henderson was fighting at 185 for the first time in several years, however, and isn’t ranked in the top 15.

Conor McGregor has also improved his ranking position, as the featherweight has been voted into the #3 slot. Ricard Lamas has moved from #3 to #4. McGregor stopped Dennis Siver one week earlier at UFC FN 59.

UFC on FOX 14 was hosted by Stockholm’s Tele2 Arena.
