Anthony Johnson buzzed the MMA world with his dominant, decision win over Phil Davis at UFC 172, and the light-heavyweight has jumped way up the promotion’s rankings as a result.

After handing the top ranked Davis just his second pro loss, Johnson has moved up nine spots to hold the #5 ranking. Davis, on the other hand, has dropped three positions to #7.

Glover Teixeira, who was decisioned by light-heavyweight champ Jon Jones, has dropped to the #3 contender slot. The former champ Rashad Evans is now ranked #2.

Bantamweight Bethe Correia has cracked the top ten ranks as a result of her UD victory over Jessamyn Duke Saturday, and is now positioned at #10.

The UFC rankings are determined by a group of media members, and are updated shortly after every event.

The April 26th, UFC 172 card was hosted by the Baltimore Arena.
