Robbie Lawler locked up a welterweight title shot at UFC on FOX 12, but Bobby Green and Dennis Bermudez also made significant headway in their title shot runs.

Following Green’s split decision win over longtime contender, Josh Thomson, the lightweight has moved up six spots in the rankings and is now #7. The victory was Green’s eighth in a row.

Thomson, meanwhile, dropped three spots and is positioned at #6.

Bermudez tapped out established vet Clay Guida on Saturday, and thanks to the win the featherweight has jumped 5 spots and is #5. Bermudez has won seven straight fights.

As a result of the loss, Guida fell five spots and is now ranked #12.

The UFC rankings are voted on by a panel of media members following each of the promotion’s events.
