The Ultimate Fighting Championship has released its latest rankings follow the promotion’s busy weekend, and four men in particular have made big moves.

Conor McGregor secured the interim featherweight belt at UFC 189 by stopping Chad Mendes, and as a result, he’s moved into the #14 position of the pound-for-pound rankings. “Notorious” was unranked prior to Saturday’s card. McGregor also moved up two slots at 145 and is now the #1 contender.

At 135, Thomas Almeida moved up four positions into the #10 spot, after taking out Brad Pickett with a thunderous flying knee at UFC 189. Welterweight Gunnar Nelson rose four places into the #11 slot, as a result of his submission win over Brandon Thatch.

Stephen Thompson, who took out Jake Ellenberger with a spinning head kick at the TUF 21 Finale on Sunday, moved into the #9 position at 170. Thompson wasn’t ranked heading into the event.

Other fighters who benefited greatly from wins this weekend were featherweight Jeremy Stephens and strawweight Michelle Waterson.

Stephens blasted Dennis Bermudez with a flying knee and rose three ranking positions to #8. Waterson, meanwhile, submitted Angela Magana at the TUF 21 Finale and is now ranked #12 at 115. Waterson was not ranked prior to this weekend’s action.
