Quinton "Rampage" Jackson

According to the Ultimate Fighting Championship, the promotion’s event this Saturday in Montreal will feature “Rampage” Jackson after all…

Jackson was scheduled to fight Fabio Maldonado at UFC 186, but recently, a New Jersey state court granted Bellator a temporary injunction, which was supposed to prevent the star from fighting. The development was the latest in Jackson’s ongoing contractual battle with Bellator.

On Tuesday, however, the UFC announced on its official website that the injunction has reportedly been lifted.

“We are happy with the decision from the New Jersey Court allowing Rampage to fight in Montreal this Saturday night,” UFC President Dana White said in the official statement. “I am looking forward to seeing Rampage back in the Octagon.”

The Jackson-Maldonado fight will be contested at a catchweight of 215 pounds.

The promotion has also announced that Steve Bosse, who was initially signed to fight Maldonado after Jackson was removed, will no longer compete.

UFC 186 will be hosted by the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec.
