UFC Fight Night 87 has received a pivotal welterweight fight, as the promotion has announced that Matt Brown will battle Demia Maia at the May 14th event.

The upcoming card will take place at a venue and city to be determined in Brazil.

Maia (22-6) is riding a four fight winning streak and most recently he scored a dominant, decision win over Gunnar Nelson. The vaunted grappler is ranked #5 in the UFC’s 170 division.

Brown (20-13) hasn’t fought since last July when he tapped out Tim Means at UFC 189. The #6 ranked welterweight is 3-2 in his last 5 fights.

UFC FN 81 will be headlined by a middleweight bout between “Jacare” Souza and Vitor Belfort.
