The UFC has announced that MFC heavyweight champ Anthony Hamilton will battle fellow newcomer Oleksiy Oliynyk, June 28th in San Antonio.

The upcoming, Fight Night card will be hosted by the city’s AT&T Center and will feature featherweight contender Cub Swanson taking on Jeremy Stephens in the headliner.

Hamilton (12-2) joins the UFC after defending the MFC title in January, by handing Darrill Schoonover a decision loss. The Jackson’s MMA fighter won the belt in October by knocking out Smealinho Rama.

Oliynk (48-9-1) is coming off a first round, submission win over Mirko “Cro Cop” while competing for Legend in November. The Russian veteran was scheduled to make his UFC debut in January versus Jared Rosholt, but had to withdraw due to injury.
