The Ultimate Fighting Championship has announced that it’s signed rising, Chinese featherweight “The Dongbei Tiger” Wang Guan. The 30 year-old fighter is expected to make his Octagon debut against an opponent to be determined, at the UFC’s June 17th card in Singapore.

Guan makes his way to the UFC having gone 15-1-1 since he began fighting professionally in 2006. Guan, who is currently riding a three fight winning streak, was quoted saying this in the official announcement:

“I will continue to keep a clean record in the UFC, showing the world my ‘China Power’,” Wang Guan said. “It’s a dream come true, my ability is approved by the UFC now. This also means the opponents I face next will be the best in the world. This will push me to train even harder”.

The only person to date to defeat Guan is WSOF vet Bekbulat Magomedov, who earned a UD win over the featherweight in 2013.
