On the same day that the UFC announced that it has signed British middleweight Tom Watson, news has surfaced that undefeated light-heavyweight Jimi Manuwa is also headed to the organization.

The Nigerian-English fighter announced the news via his official Twitter account, however, no terms of the agreement were mentioned.

The BAMMA veteran is expected to make his Octagon debut at the upcoming September 29th UFC: Nottingham event, however, no opponent has been confirmed.

Manuwa (11-0) is the reigning UCMMA champion and is coming off a first round stoppage of Anthony Rea at BAMMA 8 in December.

The 32 year-old fighter has finished every fight by TKO, KO or submission, and nine of his eleven victories have come in the first round.
