UFC Targeting Demetrious Johnson – TJ Dillashaw Fight

It looks as though Cody Garbrandt’s first title defense will be delayed, and as a result, the UFC is targeting a bout between Demterious Johnson and TJ Dillashaw.
The latter had been booked to fight Garbrandt on July 8th, but the bantamweight champ has been dealing with a back injury. Recently ESPN’s Brett Okamoto reported Dana White has said the bout is off, and that they hope to have Dillashaw face Demetrious Johnson in August.
The flyweight champ Johnson is looking to set a new title defense record, as in April, he submitted Wilson Reis to tie Anderson Silva’s title defense record of 10.
