With 2012 coming to a close the Ultimate Fighting Championship has confirmed several more events, and has released the 2013 schedule for cards that will be broadcast by FOX.

As expected, the first card that will be aired by a FOX property will take place January 19th in Brazil, when Vitor Belfort takes on Michael Bisping at a UFC on FX event. Then, on January 26th, the sixth UFC on FOX card will take place at Chicago’s United Center.

Other confirmed FOX cards will take place on April 20th, July 27th and December 14th, in venues and cities to be named.

An international event is planned for February 16th, at a location to be determined, and will be broadcast on FUEL TV.

More UFC on FX and FUEL TV cards will be announced at a later date. Pay-per-view cards on February 2nd and April 27th have also been confirmed.

The first, UFC 156 on February 2nd, will feature featherweight champion Jose Aldo taking on Frankie Edgar at the Mandalay Bay Events Centre in Las Vegas.

The April 27th card, titled UFC “Jones vs. Sonnen”, will feature light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones versus Chael Sonnen at the Prudential Centre in Newark, New Jersey.
