UFC Vet Tim Hague Fighting Bobby Lashley at Shark Fights 21

Hague

Despite a shoulder injury to former “Ultimate Fighter” competitor Darrill Schoonver, Bobby Lashley will still fight a UFC vet at Shark Fights 21, as the promotion has announced that Tim “The Thrashing Machine” Hague is stepping in for the heavyweight champion.

The November 11th event will be hosted by the Fair Park Coliseum in Lubbock, Texas, and will be broadcast via tape delay on FUEL TV.

Hague heads into Shark Fights 21 having gone 3-2 in his last five bouts, with his only loss during that stretch coming to Matt Mitrione at the UFC’s second “Fight for the Troops” card in January.

Since Hague dropped a unanimous decision loss to Joey Beltran at UFC 113 last May, the former King of the Cage Canadian champ has scored wins over Zak Jensen, Travis Wiuff, and most recently Zak Jensen, while competing for Aggression MMA.

Lashley (6-1) hasn’t fought since March, when he worked his way to a unanimous decision win over John Ott at Titan FC 17, to rebound from his stoppage loss to Chad Griggs at Strikeforce’s “Houston” event last August.
