By Timothy Gilbert

UFC veteran and former The Ultimate Fighter 7 competitor Tim Credeur was taken into custody on Monday after turning himself into Louisiana authorities.

Lafayette (LA) police issued a warrant for Credeur’s arrest on May 29 on drug and firearm accusations. He is being charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm in the presence of a Schedule I narcotic.

Credeur, the owner Gladiator’s Academy in Lafayette, has reportedly turned himself in, and subsequently posted his $5,500 bond according to MMAJunkie.com.

Credeur (12-4) found success on his season on TUF, but has gone 2-3 since the show ended. He has not fought since being knocked out by Ed Herman in 48 seconds at the TUF 13 finale in June of 2011.
