By FCF Staff
Diego Sanchez’s next Octagon appearance has been pushed back, as the veteran fighter has announced he broke his collarbone while training this week.
The 33 year-old fighter, who wasn’t booked for his next bout, recently tweeted:
Mma is a rough sport I sustained a broken collar bone Monday during mma training. Surgery was a success praying for a fast recovery.

Sanchez (25-7) hasn’t fought since last June, when he earned a controversial, split decision win over Ross Pearson at a UFC Fight Night card. Prior to the victory Sanchez had dropped consecutive bouts to Myles Jury and Gilbert Melendez.
According to a follow up report from MMA Junkie.com, Sanchez is expected to be sidelined 4-6 weeks.
