The finale for the twentieth season of “The Ultimate Fighter” has received its first bout, as Joe Proctor will take on lightweight Yancy Medeiros.

The December 12th card will be hosted by the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Proctor (10-2) will be looking to build on the stoppage win he scored over Justin Salas in July, which followed a decision victory over Cristiano Marcello in February.

The Joe Lauzon trained fighter is 4-1 in his last 5 scraps.

Medeiros (10-2) is also coming off a win, as “The Kid” tapped out Damon Jackson at UFC 177, with a reverse, bulldog choke. The Hawaiian fighter received a “Performance of the Night” honor for the highlight reel, technique.

Medeiros is 2-2, with 1 no contest, in his last 5 bouts.

The TUF 20 Finale will conclude the latest season of the show, which features women strawweight fighters and will determine the promotion’s first champ.
