UFC on FOX 13 has received an important flyweight bout, as John Moraga will battle fellow flyweight contender Jussier “Formiga” at the upcoming event.

The card will be hosted by the U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona on December 13th.

Moraga (15-3) is coming off a submission win over rising flyweight Justin Scoggins earlier this month, after he was stopped by John Dodson (due to a cut) in June.

The Arizona fighter is currently ranked #5 in the UFC’s flyweight division.

“Formiga” (17-3), meanwhile, has scored wins over Scott Jorgensen and Zach Makovsky in his last two outings, after he was stopped by Joseph Benavidez last September.

The Brazilian fighter is ranked #4 in the UFC’s 125 pound division.

The promotion has also announced that bantamweight Anthony Birchak (11-1) will make his UFC debut versus Ian Entwistle (8-2) on December 13th.

UFC on FOX 13 will be headlined by a heavyweight bout between Junior dos Santos and Stipe Miocic.
