UFC’s Lorenz Larkin Says Drop to 170 Coming After Latest Defeat
By FCF Staff
After suffering a unanimous decision loss to Derek Brunson at UFC 177, which marked his third straight defeat, Lorenz Larkin has announced a move to welterweight is likely coming.
The middleweight, who was coming off a KO defeat to Costas Philippou and a decision loss to Brad Tavares heading into Saturday, tweeted recently:
Sorry everybody but I think it's my time to listen to my coaches and team and drop to 170 sorry about the fight @ufc @ParadigmSM

The 27 year-old Larkin (14-4) has gone 1-4 since joining the UFC in 2013, after posting a 4-0, with 1 no contest, record in Strikeforce.
