UFC’s Matt Grice in Critical Condition After Car Accident

According to multiple reports, UFC featherweight Matt Grice remains in critical condition after a car accident in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma, Saturday night.
Grice, who is also a Oklahoma City police officer, was reportedly sitting at a red light when his car was rear-ended. According to a report from News9.com the fighter underwent brain surgery Sunday night. In a follow up tweet from a reported friend, it was relayed that Grice’s vital signs are stable but that he remains in “serious condition.”
The decorated wrestler and 20 fight vet hasn’t fought since February when he lost by split decision to Dennis Bermudez at UFC 157. The 32 year-old was scheduled to fight Jeremy Larsen at UFC 166 prior to this weekend’s accident.
