UFC’s Robbie Lawler and Luke Rockhold Sign Long-Term Deals With Adidas Combat Sports

By FCF Staff

Although the Ultimate Fighting Championship recently signed an extensive, uniform deal with Reebok, two of the promotion’s biggest names have inked long term agreements with adidas Combat Sports.

According to a press release sent out by the sporting goods giant, Lawler and Rockhold have signed multi-year, “head-to-toe” deals with adidas Combat Sports. The latter is the company’s division for MMA, Boxing, Jiu Jitsu, Judo, Karate and Tae Kwon Do clothing and equipment.

No terms of the agreements were disclosed. Lawler and Rockhold signed sponsorship agreements with adidas last year, but that deal was apparently terminated and a new, lengthier agreement was put in place.

Rockhold is scheduled to fight Lyoto Machida on April 18th at UFC on FOX 15. The welterweight champ Lawler, however, is currently not booked for a fight.

Once the Reeebok-UFC uniform agreement comes into effect, fighters will be prevented from wearing other promotional materials and clothing during fight week.
