UFN 32: Belfort Quickly Dispatches of “Hendo”

Vitor Belfort

By FCF Staff

Vitor Belfort has made another strong case for why he should challenge for the UFC middleweight belt next, as the punishing striker quickly took out legend Dan Henderson tonight at UFC Fight Night 32.

Not long into the main event, Belfort floored Henderson with a left uppercut and followed up with a swarm of punches from above. As “Hendo” tried to get back to his feet, Belfort violently returned the 43 year-old fighter to the mat with a left head kick. The bout was quickly brought to a halt as a result, although Henderson didn’t appear to be out and was grabbing onto Belfort’s leg.

As a result of the impressive performance, Belfort is the first man to stop Henderson in his storied, 40 fight career.

Here are the official results from tonight’s UFC FN 32 card, which took place in Goiania, Brazil.
