Uriah Hall may have failed to win the TUF 17 season last night in Las Vegas, buy losing via split decision to Kelvin Gastelum, but the powerful striker did pick up “knockout of the season” honors and an additional $25,000.

Hall, not surprisingly, earned the award for his scary head-kick knockout of Adam Cella on the third episode of TUF 17.

“Submission of the season” and 25 grand went to the TUF 17 winner Gastelum, for his first round, rear-naked-choke win over Josh Samman in the season’s semifinals.

And “fight of the season” went to Dylan Andrews and Luke Barnatt for their quarterfinals bout, which saw Andrews advance with a third round, sudden victory knockout. The two also earned an extra $25,000.
