Urijah Faber is the latest big name to be added to the line-up for UFC 181, as the promotion has announced that the accomplished fighter has agreed to face Francisco Rivera at the event.

The December 6th card will be hosted by the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Faber (31-7) is coming off a third round, submission win over Alex Caceres in July, after being stopped by former bantamweight champ Renan Barao in February. Faber, who is currently ranked #3 in the UFC’s 135 division, has gone 4-1 in his last 5 bouts.

Rivera (10-3) will be looking to rebound from a unanimous decision loss he suffered versus contender Takeya Mizugaki in May. Prior to the defeat, Rivera had gone undefeated in six straight fights. The bantamweight is currently ranked #11.

UFC 181 will also feature welterweight champ Johny Hendricks taking on Robbie Lawler, and lightweight champ Anthony Pettis versus Gilbert Melendez.
