Venator FC 3: Rousimar Palhares, Jason “Mayhem” Miller Pick up Stoppage Losses

Venator FC’s third event took place in Milan, Italy on Saturday, and the card saw UFC vets Rousimar Palhares and Jason “Mayhem” Miller pick up stoppage losses.

Palhares was stopped by Emil Meek in the opening round with punches, and Miller was submitted by a Mattia Schiavolin, second round, rear-naked-choke. Miller was scheduled originally to Luke Barnatt, but after coming in 24 pounds overweight, he was cut from the title fight. Barnatt, meanwhile, stopped Stefan Croitoru to defend the promotion’s middleweight belt.
