Warren, Makovsky Win “Super Fights”, Freire, Strauss Advance

Bellator champions Joe Warren and Zack Makovsky both were victorious in their respective, non-title, bouts last night in Yuma, Arizona. The featherweight champ Warren (pictured) scored a unanimous decision win over Marcos Galvao, while the promotion’s bantamweight title holder Makovsky, stopped Chad Robichaux in round three.
Patricio “Pitbull” Freire and Daniel Strauss entrenched a future bout with each other by earning victories in the semi-finals of Bellator’s ongoing featherweight tourney. Freire turned to his striking skills to stop Wilson Reis in round three, while Strauss tapped out Kenny Foster with a third round, guillotine choke.
