World Series of Fighting has announced that it has signed bantamweight and TUF 18 veteran Cody Bollinger to a multi-fight deal. The 22 year-old fighter is expected to make his promotional debut sometime in early 2014.

Bollinger (14-2) is 3-1, with 1 no contest, in his last five bouts. In his last official fight, he tapped out Kenny Johnson with a first round, armbar while competing for Gladiator Challenge. Bollinger made it into the TUF 18 house, by defeating Rafael de Freitas, but failed to make weight for his next bout and was eliminated.

“Cody is an extremely talented fighter, and we’re thrilled to have him on board with our company,” World Series of Fighting President Ray Sefo was quoted saying in a press release from the promotion. “Cody has recently endured some tough times in his career, but we believe he is highly skilled and has a bright future in front of him. I can’t wait to see what he can accomplish in the World Series of Fighting decagon.”

WSOF’s next event will take place December 7th in Vancouver, British Columbia, and will feature Mike Kyle taking on Anthony Johnson in the main event.
