XFX 24: Scott Holtzman Takes Lightweight Belt
By FCF Staff
Scott Holtzman extended his pro record to 5-0 and laid claim to Xtreme Fighting Championship’s lightweight crown last night in Tampa, by stopping vet John Mahlow in the second round. With the defeat, Mahlow’s record fell to 13-14.
The title was up for grabs due to former champ Nick Newell’s departure to World Series of Fighting.
Holtzman will reportedly fight Eric Reynolds next, who tapped out Kevin Forant with a first round, arm-triangle-choke.
Here are the results for XFC 24 (via MMA Junkie.com).
