Shaquille O’Neal has made his passion for MMA no secret.  Now he appears willing to take his love for the sport to the next level and step in the cage with another MMA enthusiast and fight veteran Jose Canseco.

In a Reuters report today, O’Neal responded to a recent challenge Canseco made to him on Twitter, saying that he would gladly fight the former Major League Baseball All-Star.

“He can be high off whatever, and I’ll be high off Frosted Flakes,” said the 49-year-old O’Neal.

To date, Canseco holds an 0-1 record in MMA.  He was stopped in just over one minute by Hong Man Choi in a DREAM bout in Japan on May 26, 2009.
