It looks as though Renan Barao is returning to the division where at one point, he was the UFC’s champion.

After Barao lost to TJ Dillshaw for a second time in July, 2015, the former bantamweight champ announced he was moving to featherweight. Since then, the Brazilian fighter has gone 1-1, with a loss coming to Jeremy Stephens and a win against Phillipe Nover.

According to report from Combate, Barao has decided to return to 135 pounds, since he is carrying less weight lately in between fights.

The 30 year-old Barao currently holds a record of 34-4.
