Report: “Kid” Yamamoto Saves Injured Man at Tokyo Subway Station

Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto’s fanbase will likely grow even further after news is surfacing that the renowned Japanese fighter risked his own well being to save a man at aTokyo subway station.

According to a report from Yahoo Japan, after noticing that a man had fallen onto the subway tracks and was injured, Yamamoto jumped down and attempted to lift him out of harms way. Other bystanders proceeded to assist the 35 year-old-bantamweight and the injured man was saved.

Yamamoto (18-6) competed last in February and was submitted by Vaughan Lee at UFC 144 in Tokyo, Japan.

The accomplished wrestler is 1-4 in his last five fights.
