By FCF Staff
The UFC is continuing to line-up fights for its fourth quarter of 2019, and it’s being reported that Alistair Overeem and Walt Harris have agreed to fight in December.
A bout between the heavyweight contenders is in the works for the UFC’s December 7th card in Washington, D.C., according to a report from ESPN. Sources have informed the outlet that the bout has been verbally agreed to. The fight will serve as the card’s headliner.
Overeem (45-17, 1 no-contest) is coming off a first-round, stoppage win over Aleksei Oleinik in April, and the decorated fighter has gone 3-2 in his last five contests.
Harris (13-7, 1 no-contest) also stopped Oleneik in his last bout, as he finished the feared submission artist in just 12 seconds last month. Harris has gone 3-1, with 1 no-contest, in his last five fights.
Recently the UFC announced that Stefan Struve will take on Ben Rothwell at the upcoming, December 7th card.
