MMA World Series of Fighting appears to have landed another well known fighter, as UFC veteran Anthony Johnson will reportedly fight DJ Linderman at the promotion’s upcoming November 3rd debut.
The Johnson-Linderman fight, which will be part of the NBC Sports Network broadcast, is being reported by MMA Junkie.
Johnson (13-4) will be looking to record his fourth straight win. Most recently, the former welterweight turned light-heavyweight, scored a second round stoppage win over Jake Rosholt. The victory took place at a Xtreme Fight Night card last month.
Linderman (14-3) has won three straight fights and is coming off a TKO win over Dale Mitchell while competing for Legacy Fighting Championships in July.
WSOF has also announced who will fight Miguel Torres at the November 3rd card, as Marlon Moraes has been tapped to fight the former WEC bantamweight champ.
Moraes (8-4) is coming off back-to-back wins over Jarrod Card and Chris Manuel, while Torres hasn’t fought since he was KO’d by Michael McDonald at UFC 145 in April.
WSOF’s debut will be hosted by the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
