As Anthony Johnson continues to prepare for an August 24th, Titan FC bout with Esteves Jones, the light-heavyweight has also signed to fight fellow UFC vet Jake Rosholt, September 21st.

Johnson will fight Rosholt under the Xtreme Fighting League banner,  in Tulsa, Oklahoma. MMA Fighting was the first to report the bout. The fighter’s camp, Authentic Sports Management, has also confirmed the fight with Full Contact Fighter.

Johnson is coming off a unanimous decision win over David Branch at Titan FC 22 in May. Prior to the win, the former welterweight and middleweight was submitted by Vitor Belfort at UFC 142 in January.

Johnson is 3-2 in his last five fights.

Rosholt was tapped out by Matt Thompson with a first round, kneebar at a Xtreme Knockout event in June, which ended the accomplished wrestler’s six fight, undefeated streak.

The bout will take place at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tulsa.
