Not long ago, Anthony Smith announced he’s going to fight one more time, and it’s being reported the former title challenger will face Zhang Mingyang.

Following Smith’s stoppage loss to Dominick Reyes in December, the 36-year-old announced his next fight would be his last. More recently, it was reported by the Kangzif, via social media, Smith will take on Mingyang at the UFC’s April 26th card. The promotion will hold a Fight Night card that day in Kansas City, Missouri.

Other outlets are also reporting the match-up.

Smith (38-21) is coming off back-to-back defeats after submitting Vitor Petrino in May, 2004. The veteran fighter, whose longtime coach and friend, Scott Morton, passed away last year, is 2-3 in his last 5 fights.

Mingyang (18-6) is riding an 11-fight winning streak. The 26-year-old is coming off a stoppage win over Ozzy Diaz in October.
