Report: Baysangur Susurkaev to Make UFC Debut Saturday, Following Tuesday’s DWCS Win
By FCF Staff
After recording an impressive finish at Tuesday’s Dana White Contender Series card and earning a UFC contract, Baysangur Susurkaev won’t have to wait long for his official, promotional debut.
The middleweight, who is a training partner of Khamzat Chimaev, moved his record to 9-0 Tuesday by flooring Murtaza Talha with a kick to the body. According to a report from ZacLikesMMA, Susurkaev will face Cage Fury Fighting Championship’s welterweight champ, Eric Nolan (8-3) at UFC 319, Saturday.
Nolan, who was not booked for UFC 319 initially, either, won the CFFC title in May by stopping Blayne Richards.
The match-up has also been confirmed to MMA Fighting by sources as well.
UFC 319 will be headlined by a bout between middleweight champ Dricus Du Plessis and the aforementioned, Chimaev. The card is taking place in Chicago, Illinois.
