Report: Bellator Targeting Aaron Pico – Aiden Lee Fight
By FCF Staff
It’s being reported that Aaron Pico will look to extend his winning streak to four, against Aiden Lee.
After dropping back-to-back fights to Henry Corrales and Adam Borics, the decorated wrestler and noted boxer has won three straight. Most recently, the 24-year-old Pico (7-3) knocked out John de Jesus in November.
According to a report from MMA Junkie, sources have informed the outlet that Bellator is planning to have Pico fight the 25-year-old Aiden Lee next. Lee (9-4) has won two in a row and is coming off a KO win over Jeremy Petley in September.
The fight is expected to be part of Bellator 257, which will take place on April 16th in Uncasville, Connecticut.
Light heavyweight champ Vadim Nemkov is booked to fight Phil Davis in the quarter-finals of Bellator’s light heavyweight grand prix at that event. In the other quarterfinal scheduled for the card, Anthony Johnson will face Yoel Romero.
