“King Mo” Lawal has competed at heavyweight before, and it looks like the accomplished wrestler and Bellator fighter is about to do so again.

Lawal, who is the former Strikeforce light-heavyweight champ, has reportedly agreed to fight UFC vet and heavyweight, Cheick Kongo, on February 27th. The bout will be part of Bellator 134, which will take place in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Bellator President Scott Coker reportedly confirmed the bout while appearing on the latest edition of “The MMA Hour.”

Lawal (14-4) is coming off consecutive, stoppage victories over Dustin Jacoby and Joe Vedepo, after dropping a controversial decision to “Rampage” Jackson last May.

Kongo (22-9-2), meanwhile, has finished Eric Smith and Lavar Johnson in his last two outings, after he was decisioned by Vitaly Minakov in April, 2014.

The main card for Bellator 134 will be broadcast on SPIKE.
