Following the recent news that Blagoy Ivanov is headed to the UFC, it’s being reported that he’ll face the promotion’s former heavyweight champ, Junior dos Santos next.

Recently it was reported that the former WSOF champ had amicably left the Professional Fighter’s League, and that Ivanov was signing with the UFC. Now ESPN is reporting that sources have informed the outlet that Ivanov will battle dos Santos at a Fight Night card on July 14th in Boise, Idaho.

Ivanov (16-1) is coming off a decision win over Caio Alencar in November, and is riding a five fight, winning streak.

Dos Santos (18-5) last competed in May, 2017, and was stopped by champion Stipe Miocic. The former champ is 3-2 in his last 5 bouts.
