Report: Bobby Lashley Headed to Shark Fights
By FCF Staff
Former professional wrestler and Strikeforce competitor Bobby Lashley has agreed to a new deal with the growing promotion Shark Fights.
According to a report from FOX Sports, Lashley and Shark Fights have verbally agreed to a three fight deal. News of the signing was also posted on the official Shark Fights Twitter account.
No details regarding the terms of Lashley’s contract were given, but the heavyweight is reportedly expected to make his Shark Fights debut in November.
Lashley (6-1) is coming off a unanimous decision win over John Ott in March while competing for Titan Fighting Championship. The win came after the 35 year-old-fighter was stopped by Chad Griggs at Strikeforce’s “Houston” card last August, handing Lashley his first pro loss.
Since turning professional in 2008, Lashley has scored victories over veterans like Jason Guida, Wes Sims and Bob Sapp.
