It appears as though the June 4th, UFC 199 card has been dealt a massive blow, as Chris Weidman has reportedly been forced off the card due to injury.

Weidman’s withdrawal was first reported by Talk MMA and since then, several outlets have confirmed with sources that the middleweight is injured. The former champ was scheduled to rematch Luke Rockhold, who stopped him in December to take the 185 title.

No details regarding Weidman’s injury have been disclosed, and the UFC has yet to comment on the situation.

UFC 199 will be hosted by the Forum in Inglewood, California. Bantamweight champ Dominick Cruz is scheduled to fight Urijah Faber at the June 4th event.
