It looks like Tatsuya Kawajiri will face one of the UFC’s more experienced vets in his second Octagon appearance, as according to reports he and Clay Guida have verbally agreed to fight.

The bout is being targeted for UFC Fight Night 39, which will go down in Abu Dhabi on April 11th.

The match-up is being reported by Fight Sport Asia.com and FOX Sports.com; however, the UFC has yet to announce the fight.

Kawajiri (33-7-2) is coming off a second round, submission win over Sean Soriano, which took place at UFC FN 34 in January. The renowned, 35 year-old fighter has won six straight bouts.

Guida (30-14) is looking to rebound from a third round, stoppage loss to Chad Mendes at UFC 164 in August. The 32 year-old has gone 2-3 in his last five contests.
