Report: Cody Stamann & Jimmie Rivera to Battle on ‘Fight Island’

As the UFC gets set to begin holding cards on Yas Island, it’s being reported that a fight between Jimmie Rivera and Cody Stamann has been booked.
The bantamweight contenders are going to fight in a featherweight contest, at the UFC’s July 15th card, according to a report from MMA Fighting.
Rivera (22-4) is looking to end a two-fight, losing skid, as he’s coming off defeats to Aljamain Sterling and Petr Yan.
Stamann (19-2-1) is undefeated in three straight fights, and recorded a decision win over Brian Kelleher in June.
The July 15th card will be headlined by a bout between featherweight contenders Dan Ige and Calvin Kattar.
