Report: Conor McGregor Questioned Over Attempted Sexual Assault Allegation, Star Denies Claim

Conor McGregor and his team are denying the star has done any wrongdoing, after the former UFC champ was reportedly questioned about an attempt sexual assault allegation.

Recently AFP Sports posted the statement below, after initially reporting McGregor was detained in connection to an indecent exposure allegation.

“Following a complaint filed on September 10 denouncing acts that could be described as attempted sexual assault and sexual exhibition, Mr. Conor Anthony Mac Gregor was the subject of a hearing by the police,” the prosecutor’s office wrote.”

In a follow up statement released to MMA Fighting, McGregor’s representatives said this:

“Conor McGregor vigorously denies any accusations of misconduct,” McGregor’s representatives said in a statement. “He has been interviewed and released.”

The Irish fighter’s manager, Audie Attar, also released this statement:

“I am irate and putting out a warning loud and clear: Conor McGregor is not and will not be a target for those seeking to score a headline or a payday”

The 32-year-old McGregor, who has two children with his fiance, Dee Devlin, has been arrested in the past.

In 2018, McGregor was arrested after throwing a dolly at the fighter bus prior to UFC 223. In 2019, the former champ was arrested after he smashed the cell phone of a man in Florida, and he was charged later that year for punching an elderly man in a Dublin pub.
