Conor McGregor has repeatedly made headlines by making brash statements, but they don’t compare to what UFC President Dana White says the featherweight recently proposed.

White appeared on “The Jim Rome Show” on Tuesday, and of course, talked about this Saturday’s bout between McGregor and Chad Mendes. According to a follow up report from MMA Fighting.com, during the segment, White relayed the following:

“You want to know how confident this kid is?” White said. “I can’t even believe I’m going to say this, but, he told Lorenzo and I the other day ‘I’ll bet you $3 million I knock him out in the second round.'”

McGregor was scheduled to fight champion Jose Aldo at UFC 189, but was forced to withdraw due to a rib injury. McGregor has gone 5-0 since joining the UFC in 2013.

The July 11th card will be held by the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
