Conor McGregor is set to fight Dennis Siver in just over a couple of weeks time, and as expected, if the rising featherweight defeats the latter, he’ll lock up  a title fight.

McGregor will battle Siver in the headliner of UFC Fight Night 59, which will take place on January 18th in Boston. Dana White recently spoke to the media about McGregor, and according to a report from MMA Junkie.com, the UFC President confirmed “Notorious” will fight champion Jose Aldo next, if he’s victorious at UFC FN 59.

In addition, White was asked about bantamweight champ TJ Dillashaw, who was expected to fight former champ Dominick Cruz next. The latter has gone down with another ACL injury, however, and will be out for multiple months.

White reportedly relayed that former champion Renan Barao will “probably” get a rematch with Dillashaw. Barao was stopped by Dillashaw in May, and then the renowned fighter fell ill while cutting weight for a scheduled rematch in August, and withdrew from the bout.

Most recently, Barao tapped out Mitch Gagnon with a third round, arm-triangle-choke on December 20th.

White was also asked about the possibility of Dillashaw facing his teammate and friend, Urijah Faber, and the UFC President says the bantamweights are “open to it.”
