Following the cancellation of Eddie Alvarez-Michael Chandler III, which was set to headline Bellator’s pay-per-view debut, UFC boss man Dana White has weighed in on his competition’s setback.

White was asked about the bout’s postponement following UFC Fight Night 40 this weekend. According to a report from MMA Fighting, the UFC President noted that the loss was “tough” for Bellator, since that “was the legit fight” on the May 17th card.

White also fired back at Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney, who recently told the Latin Post that the Fertitta’s “horrible relationship with unions”, is a key reason why MMA isn’t legal in New York.

“I see that Bjork (Bjorn Rebney) has been saying a lot of stupid s–t lately, he’s in the press. He’s screaming for attention. Screaming for attention. Talking about New York and the union and he’s going to… what the f–k has he done to do anything in New York?” White said. “What has that guy done to raise the bar in mixed martial arts whatsoever?”

Bellator 120 will take place at the Landers Center in South Haven, Mississippi, and will feature “Rampage” Jackson taking on “King Mo” Lawal in the main event.
